DATED 1145AH/1732AD Arabic manuscript on paper, 468 folios, 13 lines of black naskh script, sura headings in gold thuluth outlined in black, gold florish verse markers, marginal gold thuluth words; hizb, sajda, juz, diagonal marginal notes in red, sura al-Fatiha and sura -Baqara headings written in white thuluth reserved on gold ground, setin illuminated lapis and gold cartouches, issuing a roundel to the margin outlined with blue, opening bifolio with double carpet page with geometric panels between strapwork bands with calligraphic cartouches above and below, in contemporaneous typical Mamluk geometrical design leather binding.
