Six section manuscript composed of Persian nas’taliq and Arabic naskh in black on paper, section titles in red ink, set in four columns. Manuscript richly illuminated in gold and polychrome. The first two incipite pages in Arabic with gilded floral margins, followed by a double-frontispiece in unwâns with gold and polychrome. Each section with an illuminated frontispiece, mostly in the form of a cartouche surmounted by a flamed mantling trimmed with gilded scrolls. At the end of the manuscript, date 1257 H/1841 probably added by another hand. Small handwritten notes in Ottoman added later at the head of the manuscript. Ottoman leather binding with embossed decoration of a central medallion and four poly-lobed spandrels with floral scrolls and highlighted in gold.
