Of rectangular form on four elaborate bracket-style raised legs and hinged lid, the surface covered in inlaid mother-of-pearl and tortoiseshell panels in alternating diamond and triangular geometric shapes, the edges decorated with geometric bands of ivory, a tulip lockplate on a white ivory panel and a similar tulip pattern on the lid.
