Of circular form, hand painted earthenware plate with a copper lustre glaze, featuring stylised birds woven between scrolling leaves on copper ground, the border with a band of Arabic inscription, the bowl of rounded form, featuring a stylised bird in the centre among meandering flowers, the cavetto with decorative bands, the rim featuring a band of Arabic inscription against copper background, the exterior with Arabic inscription in copper colour against white background, the plate 30cm wide, 4cm high, the bowl 18.5cm wide, 6cm high
