Of vertical composition, the folio portraying a compelling scene of The Prophet Noah and The Ark, the figurehead of the ship shaped as a duck, the crescent form of the vessel and a vibrant lantern suspending above adding a distinctive touch to the miniature, the central figure of The Prophet Noah depicted wearing a white veil, marginal illustrations showcasing intricate scrolling foliage and a young male figure adorned with wings contributing to the visual splendour of the miniature, laid down on a burgundy brocade textile, mounted on a wooden frame with a carved coat of arms, folio 16 x 23cm, frame 28 x 37cm
