A resplendent casket showing the remarkable artistic talents of the Ottoman Empire and epitomising the intricate and exquisite craftsmanship of its era, standing on four legs, the exterior adorned with a display of multi-coloured mother of pearl, tortoiseshell and bone inlays, the surface intricately fashioned into a geometric pattern of veneered segments, the casket featuring drawers and ink nests, providing a practical element to this work of art, the interior lid also adorned with intricate designs, featuring decorative motifs
