Of vertical composition, two Mughal style miniatures portraying four noble men and four women, featuring elegant refined depictions of the nobility wearing elaborate clothing and jewellery around their necks and turbans, with intricate pattern, texture and embroidery details, along with vibrant colours, including deep blues, rich greens, warm reds and shimmering golds contrasting their fair complexion against palace walls decorated with floral motifs creating a sense of opulence and luxury, emphasising the wealth and status; each miniature ruled in gold and blue, with outer margins filled with golden flora on opal green ground, 35 x27 cm
