Finely crafted wooden box featuring artisan marquetry work, the box decorated with intricate patterns and designs, inlaid with geometric eight-pointed stars and stellar medallions, the writing slope decorated with a large central eight-pointed star linked to further four stars encircled with strapwork, the borders with radiating motifs, the hinged front opening to reveal six drawers seat as a part of a miniature palace interior, a series of arches lined above the drawers, the side lids opening to reveal further storage, two niches st with mirrors, the lid decorated with strapwork encircling a circular looking-glass.
