A CEREMONIAL EMBROIDERED DRESS, TURKEY, 19TH Elaborately embroidered ceremonial dress crafted with gold metal thread on rich deep red velvet, adorned with intricate gold metal thread in Diwali / slanted satin stitches, depicting a stylized bouquet accentuated by a bow and exuberant array of foliage and flowers, lined, bearing signs of age-related wear. 58 cm (23 inch) wide, 127 cm (50 inch) long Provenance: Purchased from P.
