A FRAGMENT OF A LATE ROMAN ROCK CRYSTAL BULLA WITH INTRICATE CONSTANTINIAN INSCRIPTIONS AND EMBLEMS 4TH CENTURY AD, Of irregular form, the front showcasing a crescent moon and a star, flanked by the letters D-N at the top. Beneath, the Inscription C-O-N (attributed to DN CONSTANTIVS PF AVG) is visible, accompanied by a laurel wreath merging intoa floral corolla, military insignia adorning the sides, while the centre of the crown likely featured a Christogram, evident from the remaining engraved details (similar depictions and inscriptions can be found from the Constantinian Era), crafted from transparent and luminous rock crystal, the pendant exhibits a through hole for fastening, some signs of wear, its rarity adds to its historical significance U.K., private collection 70's. 7gr 2 widest 2,8 cc, longest info@bertolamifineart.com
