A 19TH SILVER ENGRAVED SILVER WATER BOTTLE(SURAHI) WATER FLASK, NORTHERN INDIA, 19TH CENTURY, The body of bulbous form, sitting atop a circular base, its slender neck elongating the form and culminating in a dome-shaped cap, against a guilloche backdrop, pairs of lions, elephants, horses and antelopes’ confrontations separated by rosettes, shoulders adorned with petals and the base and neck’s upper reaches decorated with palmettes and scrolls, the original chain securing the cap 27.5cm high
