Arabic manuscript on paper, 590 leaves, 29 lines of black naskh script,significant words picked out in red, text outlined with gold rules, white thuluth sura headings reserved on gold ground, within gold and polychrome rectangular cartouches, opening folio with gold and polychrome illuminated heading, brown leather binding tooled, with flap the text with commentaries verse by by (ayat by ayat), at the end index of surahs.
