INDIAN CARVED WOOD & INLAID BONE & EBONY LIDDED BOX, INDIA, 19th CENTURY, A lovely Indian carved Padouk wood, bone and sadeli (khatem khari) mosaic, exterior decorated with inlaid bone panels and carved Padouk panels depicting an Indian God with two worshippers surrounded by floral patterns and leafy tendrils; carved panels at the front, back and at both sides; panels inlaid with sadeli (Khatem Khari) mosaic with mini geometric and star shaped mosaics made of pewter, silver, semi-precious green stone, interior accommodating six compartments, each with two round mosaic panels,
