Arabic manuscript on paper, a complete Quran, each page with 15 lines of black fine naskh script on gold sprinkled paper, text ruled in gold and black, verses separated by gold and polychrome rosette, surah headings in gold thuluth, gold and polychrome marginal floral motifs, f.1b and f.2a with an heavily illuminated frontispiece, 5 lines of black naskh script in clouds reserved, f.2b and f.3a with and a polychrome frontispiece, text reserved within gold clouds adorned with black floral motifs and foliage, margins intricately decorated with gold floral motifs, marginal notes in black and gold, reminding words in black, marginal medallions in gold and polychrome, last four pages with similar marginal floral decorations, in a later stamped lacquer binding, without a flap.
