Of typical spherical form, the brass globe engraved with inscriptions and markings for equator, meridian, tropics and polar circles, inscriptions in elegant naskh script, poised on a brass stand supported by four slender columns, connecting the celestial sphere to its cruciform base
26cm high, 18 cm high (without the stand)
Probably the same celestial globe, bearing the same signature and date was sold at Christie's, 26 April, 1994, Lot 382.
