baluster-shaped body with a long, curved spout opposite a loop strap handle. The domed, hinged lid is surmounted by a detachable notched finial, raised by a plain thumbpiece. One side of the body is finely decorated in niello with a depiction of the Taq Kasra (Ruins of Ctesiphon), while the other side features the Al Takarta Mosque with a dhow sailing boat and palm trees. The lid is similarly adorned with a scene of sailing boats, unsigned.
Of cylindrical form, the box with a domed pull-off lid, the top adorned with finely executed niello decoration depicting a mosque. The sides are similarly embellished with scenes of boatmen in mashoof and gufa, unsigned
