A SILVER FRAMED CARVED AGATE PENDANT IRAN, TAHRAN. Of wide drop form, depicting Imam Ali with Zulfikar (holy sword) and two lions, each wielding a sword, the inscriptions "Allah, Muhammad, Fatima, Hassan, Husain" on a flourish ground, set in a silver mount and surrounded by a wavy motif, the reverse side featuring radiating flower openwork in the centre, along with two paisley-shaped cartouches containing the name “Tahran”, with bail 82 gr, 7,3 cm widest
