Arabic manuscript on paper, containing 307 leaves with 15 Lins on each page, written in a neat naskh script in black ink with diacritics and vowel points in red and black ink, featuring gold roundels as verse markers, the inner margins ruled in two shades of gold and red, catchwords and sura headings written in thuluth in white within illuminated rectangular panels, an illuminated double-page frontispiece in colours and gold, and occasional illuminated devices in wide outer margins, bound in contemporary brown morocco covers decorated with panels incorporating a diaper pattern in gold, the flap with a similar decoration, upper cover detached, doublers and endleaves of green paper embossed with an interweaving vegetal motif
