TURKEY Commencing with the Sura al-NAB’A, Arabic manuscript on paper, 15 folios, with 15 lines to the page written in neat naskh script, diacritics in black, gold roundels decorated with blue and red dots between verses, margins ruled in red and gold, catchwords in wide margins, illuminated devices in margins, sura headings in white thuluth reserved on gold ground within illuminated rectangular polychrome and gold florish panels, some repairs mostly restricted to margins, creased, binding brown morocco gilt, 17.7 cm x 11.3cm.
