Of a typical form featuring a broad skirt, elongated sleeves and a gently tapered waistline, the collar adorned with a sizeable cusped medallion, intricately embroidered with silver scrolling floral vines against a backdrop of lustrous gold, the body decorated with celestial motifs, embellished with silver thread and highlighted by opulent velvet accents, the edges of the garment with chevron embroidery and lined with sumptuous violet satin, the velvet displays signs of age.
