The barrel is 925 sterling silver, with a sterling silver cap with modern carbon fibre woven decoration, the nib is 18K solid gold hand-engraved with an "M", and not only evokes the memory of a prominent financier but also pays homage to his enduring legacy: the Morgan Library. During America's "Golden Age," John Pierpont Morgan stood out not only as a powerful financial tycoon but also as a passionate devotee and supporter of the arts.
