"Arabic manuscript on paper, 14 lines of black naskh script, lobbed gold rpoundels between verses outlined with blue, text set within gold, black and blue frame, gold and polychrome marginal rosettes with central Kufic Arabic inscriptions, sura headings in white thuluth on gold ground set within rectangular florish cartouches, marginal red words, opening bifolio with gold and polychrome prevailing 16th century Herat and Bukhara illumination framing 6 lines of black naskh script, later lacquer binding,
