A bronze sculpture depicting a carpet seller, crafted from polychrome bronze, with intricate details to the figure and the carpet, the base of the objects stamped with a ‘B’ in an urn-shaped cartouche testifying to its important maker. 688 gr Franz Xaver Bergman (1861-1936) He was a renowned Austrian maker specialising in the creation of cold-painted bronze sculptures.
