Of oval form, a large profile portrait of an Indian (possibly) prince, with a well-groomed moustache and beard, an elaborate turban embellished with jewels, an opulent kaftan trimmed with fur, holding a sword, against posing on a balcony against a blue sky, framed by an elaborate floral surround, paper laid down on linen, not framed, Persian calligraphy panels at the top and bottom of the portrait, 82cm x 65cm
